Parkside student's recipe features in Asda magazine

Euan Harrison featured on the Asda Kids’ Kitchen page of the free magazine with his imaginative recipe for chilli con carne.

Euan, 12 told readers that his favourite food was gyros, from Greece, and the most hateful was sprouts.

He said: “Recipes that play around with different consistencies and textures are my favourites.

“I love to experiment with flavours, putting different tastes together – such as sweet and salty – that might not usually go.

“What I especially like about this recipe is you can play with the spice levels, depending on your taste.”

Euan spent time in the kitchen with Asda Good Living’s food editor making his dish for the magazine’s photocall.
