There are 29 sessions taking place over 8 days and will act as a great support for your child as they enter their last 7 weeks before the exam season commences. In order to confirm your attendance for the sessions, please complete and return the supply slip to Mr Needham or Miss Bailey.
I would also like to remind you that there continues to be an extensive revision programme in place to support students, where each session has a specific focus to support learning. All subect revision guides can be found here https://parksideschool.net/curriculum/revision-resources and specific details of revision sessions can be found on each faculty homepage by clicking on the curriculum tab on the schools homepage https://parksideschool.net/.
The library continues to be open every day until 4:00pm and provides all past exam papers and mark schemes free of charge to students. SAM learning https://www.samlearning.com/
is also a great platform from which to develop subject exam knowledge and then apply to the exam questions.
We also have some excellent subject specific apps via our links with PIXL in Maths, English Literature, Geography and History. These apps will allow your child to undertake numerous recall tests and challenges to secure any areas of their course that need support. For further help/information on these please speak to; Maths - Mr Russell, English - Mr Pickard, Geography - Mr Radcliffe and History - Mr Thompson.
In order to keep organised and on track there are also a number revision sites which will help map out a revision timetable and help keep students aware of the time spent on each subject etc, for example https://www.goconqr.com/en/.
Should you need any further help or support with your child through the next few months, please do not hesitate to get in touch with myself, Mr Needham or any of Faculty Leaders.
