Parkside School has Rugby teams in Years 7,8,9,10 and has recently established its first two girls teams in Year 7 & 9.

The school plays in the White Rose series rugby festivals ran by the RFU throughout the school year, competing again local schools in the Bradford and Kirklees area. The U15s will play in the local county cup and the national Nat West Cup

As well as rugby in core PE, the school teams train every Friday after school, supported by their partnership clubs, Keighley RUFC, Bradford Bulls & the RFU. 

This season the school has had success at both individual and team level. Ethan Lawrie in Year 10 has  been selected to represent Yorkshire RFU and Leeds Carnegie whilst year 10 player Keir Welch & Year 9 players Morgan Mirzaali and Arron Green have been admitted onto the EDRPP talent pathway.

The year 10 reached the White Rose County finals whilst the whole rugby squad  finished the season with a 60 strong tour of the Isle of man, playing against local schools and clubs.
