School Closure: Remote Learning

Wednesday 20 May 2026

Dear Students,

As you know, our school is closed on Wednesday 20 May.

Year 11 & Year 13:

If you have a GCSE or A-Level exam, come in to school as planned.
If you are in Year 13 and have a scheduled lesson with Mr Lawler (Maths) or Mrs Trowers (Food), come into school as planned.

Years 7 to 10 and Year 11/13 without exams:

Your learning is online and can be found on our Remote Learning page. You must be logged into your school Google account before trying to access the page.

You can find the Remote Learning page by going to the key apps menu in the top right corner of our school homepage or you can click here. Choose your year group and follow the instructions on the page.

How to login to Google:

Step 1: Go to Google on your web or phone browser

Step 2: Look at the top right corner of the screen. If you see a blue sign in button, click it! If you see a circle with a picture or an initial instead, someone else (like a parent) might be signed in. Click that circle and choose 'add another account' or 'sign out'

Step 3: Type in your full school email address. This is the email address you use to log in to Google Classroom and the computers during lessons. Double check your spelling and then click next

Step 4: Type in your school password. This is the password you use to log in to Google Classroom and the computers during lessons. Be careful with capital letters and numbers! Once you've typed it, click next. You should now be logged in. Click the Remote Learning page and choose your year group to find your learning for the day.
